Vincent Alexander
Principal
I am Vincent Alexander, III and I am the proud principal of the High School here at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School. I am honored to be afforded this opportunity to serve in this capacity. I have served in education for fifteen years, and joined the EMHCS family in August of 2019 serving as the Extended Day Program Coordinator. Most recently, I served in the CEO Cabinet as the Director of Student Programs and Community Initiatives, which included the role of Campus Advisor for the High School Campus. Prior to joining EMHCS, my tenure in education included serving as Dean of Students at Vertus High School and Supervising Director at Quad A for Kids, an initiative of Rochester Area Community Foundation serving students in the Rochester City School District.
My educational philosophy is based on my uncompromising belief that all students can learn and be successful, given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed educational focused team, an encouraging community, and a supportive family. With a committed village, dedication and hardwork from our students and a holistic approach to learning our students are bound to be successful. I am determined to make an impact on the lives of the students to ensure they are prepared for their post graduation plans. It is my privilege to lead the High School and the many well equipped staff and bright students here! It is my goal to continue to provide a supportive culture at EMH that is conducive to teaching and learning.

Soy Vincent Alexander, III y soy el orgulloso director de la escuela secundaria aquí en Eugenio María de Hostos Charter School. Me siento honrado de tener esta oportunidad de servir en esta capacidad. He servido en educación durante quince años y me uní a la familia EMHCS en agosto de 2019 como Coordinadora del Programa de Día Extendido. Más recientemente, trabajé en el Gabinete Ejecutivo como Director de Programas Estudiantiles e Iniciativas Comunitarias, que incluía el papel de Asesor para la Escuela Secundaria. LaConda Graham
Assistant Principal
My name is LaConda Graham, and I am beyond honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of EMHCS High School, located at the Kodak campus. I have been a dedicated school counselor in the RCSD for the past 14 years, where I have graduated numerous students. I graduated from St. John Fisher University with my second Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.
As a former school counselor, I am excited to enhance my skills in this leadership role. I believe in collaboration, building relationships, and supporting my students, families, and staff.

Mi nombre es LaConda Graham y me siento más que honrada de servir como subdirectora de la escuela secundaria de EMHCS, ubicada en el campus de Kodak. Me gradué de la Universidad St. John Fisher con mi segunda maestría en liderazgo educativo.

Demond Stewart
Athletic Director
My name is Demond Stewart and I am thrilled to serve your sons and daughters as the EMHCS Athletic Director. I have over 30 years in all phases of sports, from being a student Athlete in High School, Div. 1 College player, professional athlete, coaching at the High School and College level, and as a director of athletic programs.
As the EMHCS Athletic Director, I am committed to creating an environment that empowers student-athletes to develop into leaders in school and beyond.

Mi nombre es Demond Stewart y estoy encantado de servir a sus hijos e hijas como Director Atlético de EMHCS.
